Caran d’Ache Neocolor ii

Caran d’Ache Neocolor ii Watersoluble pastels are softer than colored pencils and denser than children’s wax crayons. You can blend them with water to allow wet and dry techniques in the same artwork. Because of their strong pigmentation, they have excellent covering power – light colors cover dark colors and vice-versa. They also have excellent light resistance and velvety, luminous colors. Caran d’Ache Neocolor ii Pastels are also soft enough to smudge with fingertips without crumbling, and are much firmer than oil pastels. Neocolor II offers endless creative possibilities for both professionals and beginners.

Wet or dry drawing on various materials, watercolour, wash drawing, scraping or for applying to light panels, monotypes, wet drawing, glazing or rainbow gradation. Individual crayons measure 105 mm in length and 10 mm in diameter (4-1/8″ _ 5/16″). Neocolor II are Swiss made according to the highest quality standards.
