The Sinoart Drawing Tools 9pc Set has all the drawing tools you need to shade, sharpen, blend and erase. This set is ideal for drawing with graphite, charcoal, pastel and other dry mediums. This set is fantastic for beginners and seasoned artists.
What are these tools and how do you use them?
The paper stump is a cylindrical drawing tool, usually made of soft paper that is tightly wound into a stick and sanded to a point at both ends. It is used by artists to smudge or blend marks made with charcoal, Conté crayon, pencil or other drawing media.
A tortillon is a cylindrical drawing tool, tapered at the end and usually made of rolled paper, used by artists to smudge or blend marks made with charcoal, crayon, pencil or other drawing utensils.
The Leather or chamois cloth, is commonly used by artists as a blending tool when working with charcoal or pastel. The leather blends dry media more softly and cleanly than the artist’s fingers, which can leave smudges.
